Why Robots? Why not humans?

The idea to build robots to relieve humans from harsh and laborious chores is a nice one. However, upon pondering on the key instigators behind its creation, I find some layers of the beautifully crafted human ego that seek to hide the truth from us: the commoners. Imagine a world full of robots working zealously with no complaints and no personal ego sweating hard to accomplish chores on our behalf as obedient kids and peasants. Then imagine also a world where we will be sitting soaking up the sun having to work and worry for nothing. The question: Have we come to the earth merely for soaking up the sun?

I was wondering what the need to develop the so-called intelligent robots is. Aren’t eight billion people, sixteen billion hands enough to get the work done? Are all the young, talented, and intelligent people employed? If not, then what is the purpose of building robots for tasks that can be done by humans? Aren’t the Algerians, the Sudanese, the Africans, the Asians, and the Europeans capable of doing the tasks that a robot with two handicapped hands, a chipped brain, and a monotonous movement can do? If that isn’t the case, then the case must be dubious. As far as I think, it is all about the capitalistic ego of a few company owners that can build robots; not for you, not for me, but for themselves. Certainly, there are numerous advantages of advancements in the field of computer sciences; however, giving birth to a robot and propagating that it is a lifesaver; in contrast, telling people to control the population by making them believe that population growth is a ticking time-bomb, is an extreme form of fraud and forgery.
